Star Valley Rotary Club

The Rotary Club of Star Valley is nearly 20 years old.  We have been serving our community in many  ways as we continue to grow with the valley.  We meet in two locations as our membership lives in an eighty mile long valley. 
 
Star Valley Rotary meets:
 - 1st, 3rd, and 5th Tuesdays at 12:00 in the EMT Training Center in Afton
 - 2nd and 4th Tuesdays at 11:45 in the  Senior Center in Thayne
Our club meetings include guest speakers from within our community as well as international visitors.
  
We provide service projects to local needs:
 - Students of the Month from Star Valley High School with a recognition lunch and check
 - New Library books to a local library
 - Dictionaries to every 3rd Grade student in the Valley
 - Highway clean up 
 - Prom for clients of Lincoln County Self Reliance
 - Inspirational Speaker for High School and Middle School Students
 - Scholarships for deserving High School Seniors

We are also committed to international projects such as:
 - Supplying and educating in Romanian neonatal hospitals over a 5 year period
 - Hosting International study teams
 - Creating a new neonatal project in Mongolia

Our major annual fund raiser is held in early September.  We sponsor the Oktoberfest .  This fund raiser provides funds for our local and international projects.  In addition, we have partnered with the Animal Humane Association providing much needed support for their work.
